Raising kids with ADHD—or parenting while managing ADHD yourself—requires a different approach. Traditional parenting methods often leave families feeling frustrated, depleted, and overwhelmed. What makes the difference is not just “trying harder,” but building the right systems, habits, and tools at home.
That’s why I created The ADHD Family workshop: a six-session, in-person program designed to help families strengthen executive function skills, reduce daily stress, and create a calmer, more connected home.
For nearly two decades, I’ve coached students and families living with ADHD. I’ve seen firsthand that when parents lead with structure and understanding, kids develop independence, confidence, and resilience that lasts far beyond the classroom.
With The ADHD Family workshop, you’ll walk away with strategies that actually work for ADHD families—not just theory—so you can stop fighting fires and start building a family life that feels steady, supportive, and hopeful.
In this workshop, you will:
- Enhance executive functioning—such as attention, organization, time management, and self-control—tailored specifically for ADHD minds.
- Gain effective strategies and routines to ease homework struggles, streamline hectic mornings, and manage family tensions with steadiness and reliability.
- Build a family framework that supports both parents and children, remaining resilient during stressful times.
You’re not just managing ADHD. You’re building a foundation for lifelong growth and success.
Program Outline
Part 1: Parenting as a Team with ADHD in the Mix
Uncover your parenting styles and learn how to align them for consistency. Identify ADHD-related stress triggers, practice emotional regulation, and build a united foundation so your child feels supported, not confused by mixed messages.
Part 2: Routines, Organization, and Time Management that Stick
Learn how to design predictable routines and an organized home without rigidity. Discover ADHD-friendly time management strategies that reduce daily chaos, strengthen your executive functions, and show your kids what balance and follow-through look like.
Part 3: Executive Function Skills for Parents
Reflect on your own executive function strengths and challenges—and how they impact your parenting. Develop concrete strategies to boost planning, flexibility, and follow-through so you can better model and teach these skills to your child.
Part 4: Family Dynamics, Discipline, and Everyday Balance (2 Sessions)
Strengthen communication, manage meltdowns, and turn conflict into teachable moments. Build trust and self-esteem through clear boundaries, consistent consequences, and ADHD-friendly discipline. Learn how to handle sibling dynamics, carve out “me time” and “we time,” and create a family environment rooted in values, connection, and calm.
Parents who join the ADHD Family workshop series understand that successful parenting does not mean "easy" parenting. Instead, it is a complex process filled with challenges and celebrations (sometimes even simultaneously! :)
